Casper Ghosts News Release

The Casper Rockies dropped their third straight game in Missoula on Monday night, losing to the Osprey 9-7. The two clubs were even at five until the 6th when the Rockies fell apart again, giving up four runs in the inning.

The Rockies tried to rally, scoring a run in the 7th and 8th, but couldn't get any runs across in the 9th despite having men on the corners with only one out. Jay Metzger took his first loss of the season and Patrick Dudd earned his first win of the year.

Corey Wimberly led the Rockies attack with three hits and Chris Cook clubbed his 9th homer of the year as well. Missoula has a season-high four-game winning streak.

The Rockies will attempt to snap their three-game slide at 7:05 Tuesday. Chaz Roe will get the start for the Rockies.
