Casper Ghosts News Release
CASPER, WY - A raucous 4th of July crowd helped the Casper Rockies break a 3-year old attendance record Tuesday night at Mike Lansing field. 3,149 fans helped the Rockies win their second straight game, 5-4 over Ogden.
The previous attendance record of 3,086 was set in the final game of the 2003 season.
"Once again the Casper community has shown tremendous support of professional baseball," said General Manager Danny Tetzlaff.
The 3-game series with Ogden continues July 5th with Guaranteed Win Wednesday and July 6th with Thirsty Thursday presented by the Movie Star Lounge.
Our spectacular fireworks return on Friday night, and a Team Photo Giveaway is slated for the first 1,000 fans on Saturday evening. Following the fireworks on Friday night, we will be hosting 'Rockin' with the Rockies', a live beach party concert with a Jimmy Buffett impersonator benefiting the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation.
