Rocket Swap Import Picks with Shawinigan

The PEI Rocket announced today that they traded the 33rd pick in this year's CHL Import Draft to Shawinigan in exchange for the Cataractes' first round pick in the 2011 CHL Import Draft.
"We had no need for our import picks this year due to the fact that we have Adam Polasek and Andrej Nestrasil in our lineup for next season", said President and Governor, Serge Savard Jr. "By trading this year's pick, we now have 2 first round picks in the Import Draft next year if we need to use them at that time".
The Rocket also announced that the deadline for Early Bird pricing is fast approaching and ends Wednesday at close of business. The Rocket office will be open until 5:30 PM on Wednesday to allow fans to get their tickets.
"Sales of season tickets have been very strong so far", said GM of Business Operations, Kent Hudson. "We have had many brand new season ticket holders this year and we hope to attract many more new fans. We also hope to attract some of our previous fans who may not have been season ticket holders during the past season or two. There is a great deal of optimism around the team right now and we hope we can capitalize and get many new season ticket holders in the door this year", added Hudson.
