P.E.I. Rocket News Release

The PEI Rocket announced today that youth and student ticket prices have been reduced from now until Christmas.  The Rocket have 6 home games between now and December 14th and for each of these games, youth tickets have been reduced to $5.00 and student tickets have been reduced to $7.00.

Kent Hudson, General Manager of the PEI Rocket indicated that "we are thrilled to be able to offer this great deal to the youth and students on PEI. Our players really enjoy playing in a setting where our fans are the 7th player and we hope that this will help!"

"Our team is competitive every night. Bobby Nadeau is one of the best goaltenders in the league, Chris Doyle is 3rd in QMJHL scoring, Ben Duffy is one of the best 16 year olds in the league, and Jordan Escott is a newcomer with great potential and a very bright future.  Hopefully this special pricing for youth/students will get some new people into the building to watch some future NHL'ers play", added Hudson.

"We have worked hard at making sure that the game atmosphere is entertaining and we will continue to do this; from the music, to the video screens, to the many giveaways and contests that are featured every night" says the General Manager.

Upcoming Games

Wednesday, November 26 versus Moncton Wildcats

Friday, December 5 versus Victoriaville Tigres

Sunday, December 7 versus Drummondville Voltigeurs

Wednesday, December 10 versus Halifax Mooseheads

Friday, December 12 versus Moncton Wildcats

Hudson indicated that "this is an exciting time for the PEI Rocket franchise right now.  We feature one of the best core groups of young talented hockey players in the entire league and we want to ensure everyone has a chance to experience game day.  The community support is extremely important.  If they have never been to a game, we hope they will attend so that they can see the fun and enjoyment that can be experienced".
