
Rock Training Camp Opens Saturday

Toronto, ON - With rookie and free agent camp wrapping up last weekend, the Toronto Rock will begin their main training camp on Saturday at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario.
Players will report for physicals on Saturday morning before hitting the turf for their first official workout from 2-4pm in preparation for the 2014 season under the tutelage of new head coach John Lovell and assistant coaches Dan Ladouceur and Blaine Manning.
"There will be no time for second chances," said Lovell. "We will have 17 days to get down to our 20-man roster and just two exhibition scrimmages to get a good look at everyone. We open the season in just over a month, we will see who is prepared and who is not right off the hop this weekend."
After Saturday's session, camp will resume on Tuesday evening (8-10pm) leading up to next Saturday's pre-season test against the Colorado Mammoth. Game time is 7pm at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre and there is no charge for admission however seating is limited to 800 spectators.
