HI, I'M THOMAS: Clete Thomas snapped an 0-for-13 drought with his game-winning RBI single in the 8th inning.

ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH: The Red Wings scored 3 runs in the 7th to snap a 24-inning consecutive scoreless innings streak.

IS HE FOR REAL?: Chris Parmelee extended his team lead with his 17th home run, a 2-run homer in the 7th.

TWO PITCHES, TWO HOMERS: Chris Parmelee and Wilkin Ramirez hit consecutive home runs in the 7th inning for the Red Wings' 4th set of back-to-back homers.

MY FAVORITE MARTIS: Shairon Martis went 7.1 innings for his longest outing as a Red Wing...his season high is 8.0 innings from June 5 with Double-A Altoona (Pirates) at Reading.

DOZIER OFF: Brian Dozier is hitless in his last 13 at-bats...he is hitting just .088 (3-for-34) in 9 games with the Red Wings since being optioned by Minnesota August 14.
