Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Down to their final 11 games of the regular season, the IronPigs (71-62) play Game Two a three-game series against the fourth-place Rochester Red Wings (66-66) at Frontier Field... With a 1-0 win last night, the Pigs have won five of their last eight games and pulled to within a half-game behind Pawtucket in the Wild Card race. Still, since July 6, the Pigs have gone just 20-26 -- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to a season-high 6.0-games back in the North... Rochester -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- has now lost five of their last six affairs since a 13-5 span. Once 39-47, the Wings have still gone 27-19 since July 5.
RHP Tyler Cloyd (12-1, 2.27) will start for LHV against RHP Shairon Martis (2-3, 6.75).
First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

The 1-0 shutout last night marked the Pigs' 11th of the season -- and their 2nd in the last 3 G (both by 1-0* scores)... LHV currently ranks T-3rd in the IL with SYR behind IND (14) and CHA (13)... The LHV franchise record for SHO in a season is 12 (2011) and they now have 35 all-time... *It was the Pigs 8th all-time 1-0 victory -- 5 of which have come this season!
