Roberson Returns to RimRockers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., January 25 - The Arkansas RimRockers have announced that guard Anthony Roberson has returned to Arkansas. The RimRockers acquired Roberson from the NBA Development League available player pool. To make room for Roberson on the roster, the RimRockers waived forward Tyrone Sally.

Roberson (6'2", 180) joins the RimRockers for the second time in two years. During the 2005-06 season, as an NBA Assigned player from the Memphis Grizzlies, Roberson averaged 17.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.5apg, 1.2spg, and 0.4bpg in 10 games for Arkansas.

The University of Florida standout signed with the Golden State Warriors this past off-season where he was averaging 5.6ppg, 1.1rpg, 0.5apg, and 0.6spg in 20 games this season, including one start, before being waived on January 5th.

Sally played in 12 games (9 starts) for Arkansas, averaging 25.6 minutes, 10.2 points, and 4.8 rebounds.

Roberson is expected to be in uniform in Austin when the RimRockers face the Toros on Friday, January 26, 2007.
