
Roanoke Acquires Poole
December 26, 2002 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 26, 2002) - The Roanoke Dazzle has acquired center Kareem Poole, according to announcement today by National Basketball Development League Executive Director Karl Hicks and Dazzle Head Coach Kent Davison. Roanoke waived forward Cypheus Bunton.
Poole, at 7-foot and 230-pounds, played in 55 games and started 44 for the Columbus Riverdragons last season. The second round draft selection of the Riverdragons in 2001, the Tyler Junior College '01 product averaged 3.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game through the 2001-02 season.
Bunton had played in 14 games for the Dazzle, averaging 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
