Roadrunners Set for Exhibition

EDINBURG, Texas - The Edinburg Roadrunners of the United League Baseball have announced an exhibition home game against the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings on Tuesday, May 21st with the first pitch set for 10:05 am. Admission is free to the public.
Manager Ozzie Canseco said, "This is the final opportunity I get to see players in in-game situations before opening day. This will serve for me as to who makes the team and who does not."
Canseco also said that "I already have some spots secure but it all comes down to that final bench spot and the final bullpen spot. It will let me see players that could play against the White wings before we hit the road for the season opener and see how things shape out."
Roadrunners home opener is on Saturday, June 1st at 7:05 as they host the Fort Worth Cats at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
