Rochester's losing streak reached four with a 99-86 Premier Basketball League defeat at Lawton-Fort Sill, in a rematch of last year's championship playoff series.
The RazorSharks never led in this one with the Cavalry scoring 13 of the game's first 19 points. LFS led by seven after a quarter and six at half, 50-44.
After falling behind by 16 points in the 3rd quarter, Rochester rallied behind a 10-1 run to close to within seven. That was as close as it got.
Eric Walton was high man for the Sharks with 20 points and a team high 9 rebounds. Sammy Monroe, in his first game back with Rochester, added 17 points. Melvin Council had 13 off the bench.
For the Cavalry, DeAnthony Bowden got 27 on 9 for 13 shooting. He was 4 for 5 from three-point range. Bowden only averaged 10.3 points coming in.
Rochester was beaten inside, outscored 42-32 in the paint and outrebounded 44-38. Most damaging were 23 turnovers that the Cavalry turned into 40 points. The Sharks scored just 14 off LFS turnovers.
Lawton-Fort Sill (8-1) has never lost at home since entering the Premier Basketball League last year. They are now 18-0 (correct) after wins in back to back nights.
Rochester falls to 2-6 with four consecutive road losses. The RazorSharks play their next seven games at home beginning Saturday afternoon against the Kentucky Bluegrass Stallions.
