Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release

Greenville, SC : Today the Road Warriors announced the team has signed forward Matt Schepke.

Schepke returns to the Road Warriors after playing 15 games with Greenville during the 2010-2011 season. In that span he managed to put up five goals and seven assists. Schepke spent last season with the Reading Royals and Wheeling Nailers. In 70 games with the two teams he scored 16 goals, 26 assists and collected 38 penalty minutes. Schepke is a former 26 goal scorer with the Charlotte Checkers in the 2009-2010 season.

"Matt has net presence that will make our team even better on rebound opportunities. His speed to the outside will give opposing defenders a hard time containing him," said Head Coach Dean Stork. "He has played in this league for the past four which provides experience for our younger players to learn from."

The Road Warriors have also suspended Ashton Rome and Ryan Flanigan has been assigned by the Connecticut Whale to the Wichita Thunder.
