Peoria Rivermen News Release

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen presented by Midwest Orthopaedic Center have announced a slight change to their public appearance schedule for the week of December 14, 2015

The Rivermen will still be appearing today, December 15, at 2 P.M. at the Children's Hospital of Illinois at 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue in Peoria visiting and spending time with patients. If any media plan on attending this event, they are asked to let the team know in advance so the Rivermen can inform the hospital ahead of time.

A previously scheduled time for the Rivermen to skate with the public at PNC Winterfest has been cancelled due to poor ice conditions on the outdoor rink caused by unseasonably warm and humid weather. The Rivermen still plan to skate with the public at the outdoor rink from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, December 29.

Wednesday afternoon, December 16, from 2-4 the Rivermen will be at the Salvation Army Toy Shop Distribution center at the Salvation Army's Citadel at 2309 W Nebraska Avenue in Peoria helping to distribute donated toys to families in need. Then the Rivermen leave early Thursday morning for a weekend of games at Columbus and Huntsville Friday through Sunday.

Single-game and season tickets for Peoria's 34th season of professional hockey are on sale at the Toyota Box Office in the Peoria Civic Center, or by phone at the Rivermen office, located at 201 S.W. Jefferson Street, or over the phone at (309) 676-1040.
