
Rivermen Game-Worn Jersey Auctions Begins May 5

PEORIA, Ill. (April 30, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen announced today they will be holding an online auction of the game-worn home (white) and away (blue) jerseys from the 2008-09 season. A total of 50 jerseys will be available with bids starting at $150.
The auction for the home jerseys will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5 and conclude on Tuesday, May 12. The away jersey auction will start and finish one day later (May 6-13).
Fans can access the auction by checking Rivermen.net once the auction begins or by logging onto www.ebay.com and searching "Peoria Rivermen Game Used Jersey 08-09."
Both the white and the blue jerseys worn by Rivermen goaltender and NHL All-star Manny Legace will be open for bidding as well as the jerseys of Ben Bishop, Alex Pietrangelo and Trent Whitfield.
Season tickets for the 2009-10 campaign are now on sale at the Rivermen office. Fans have until 5 p.m. on Friday to lock in savings of at least $200 thanks to Early Bird Pricing. Call (309) 676-1040 for more information or to reserve you seats for next year. Visit Rivermen.net for more information.
