RiverKings single-game tickets on sale Friday

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Single-game tickets for the 2007-2008 season of Mississippi RiverKings hockey at the DeSoto Civic Center go on sale for the first time this Friday, September 14 at 10am. The RiverKings open their 16th season of hockey in the Mid-South on Friday, October 19 versus division rival Bossier-Shreveport at the DCC.

Beginning Friday, fans can purchase their single-game RiverKings tickets in person at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at 901-525-1515 and in person at the DeSoto Civic Center Box Office. Single-game tickets are not available through the RiverKings office. The DCC Box Office is open 10 to 6 Monday through Friday and noon to 4 on Saturday.

RiverKings single-game ticket prices start at $10 for the orange level. The other seating areas are red, $12; gold level, $18; and rink-side blue level seats, $21.

Besides tickets for individual games, the RiverKings have several ticket packages that provide flexibility, discounted rates and special benefits.

On sale right now through the RiverKings office are full 32-game and half 16-game season ticket packages, 8-game and 4-game voucher packs and discounted tickets for groups of ten or more.

A full season ticket starts as low as $240 and comes with many benefits such as: savings over single-game ticket prices; the same seat for all 32 home games; first chance to have those seats for the playoffs; an exclusive season ticket holder discount card; vouchers for road game tickets at Bossier-Shreveport; a merchandise discount; a merchandise rewards program and much more.

The half-season 16-game package starts at $160 and gives the fan the opportunity to pick the 16 games they want to attend.

The 8-game and 4-game voucher packs feature undated vouchers that can be used in any quantity at any RiverKings home game. The voucher pack tickets are each discounted a dollar over the regular box office rates.

Tickets for groups of ten or more are discounted $3 from the regular single-game price with each group getting special recognition on the scoreboard during the game. Special children's birthday packages are also available.

The RiverKings also allow non-profit organizations the opportunity to sell tickets to games as a way to fundraise. The non-profit picks a game that they would like to sell tickets for and can earn as much $9 per ticket sold.
