RiverKings Fan Fest set for Tuesday night

Southaven, MS --- RiverKings fans are prepared for another action packed season of hockey in the Mid-South. The first puck drop of the season will take place this Friday at 7:05pm at the DeSoto Civic Center. The RiverKings are excited to start the new season and would like to thank everyone in the surrounding communities for their continued support, especially ticket package holders.

"Our ticket package holders support this team through thick and thin," Dave Mattice, Director of Business Operation, said. "We'd like to thank our Season Ticket Holders for their support and invite them to this year's Fan Fest event."

Fan Fest is an annual event the RiverKings host prior to the season, inviting ticket holders out to the arena to pick up their ticket packages, watch the team practice, and be the first to meet and greet this season's team.

This year's Fan Fest will also spotlight several of the RiverKings' corporate partners. Partners slated to attend are: Southaven RV, DeSoto Magazine, Dr. Maddux/Hernando Family Dental, DeSoto Athletic Club, AIM Mail Centers, The Pig/River City Management, Synergy Massage, Around Town Magazine, Shelby Residential and Vocational Services, Wholesale Nutrition, Old Style Bar-B-Q, Beef O' Brady's, Wilson Perry Salon and Day Spa, Sycamore Bank, Tropical Smoothie Café, TGI Fridays, Fitness Premier, Help Me Rhonda, Leelavadee, Emergency Mobile Healthcare and the Kings Court Booster Club.

"This is always a fun event," commented Mattice. "It's a great way to kick off our season and thank our ticket package holders for their continued support."

Fan Fest will begin at 6pm Tuesday night. The team practice will take place from 6 - 7pm with an autograph signing from 7:30 - 8pm*. * times are subject to change
