RiverHawks schedule tryouts for May 15

ROCKFORD â Do you think you have what it takes to be a Rockford RiverHawk?
You'll get your chance to put your bat â or arm, or glove â where your mouth is at the RiverHawks' open tryout Saturday, May 15 at Marinelli Field. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and tryouts begin at 9 a.m. The registration fee is $20.
Players will be evaluated by members of the RiverHawks staff. Those selected will be invited to join the RiverHawks for spring training.
Last year, nearly 100 players tried out. Four were invited to camp.
