LOVES PARK, Ill. - Do you think you have what it takes to be a Rockford RiverHawk?
You'll get your chance to put your bat - or arm, or glove - where your mouth is at the RiverHawks' open tryout May 5 at RiverHawks Stadium. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and tryouts begin at 9 a.m. The registration fee is $50 and includes a tryout camp T-shirt.
Players will be evaluated by members of the RiverHawks staff. Those selected will be invited to join the RiverHawks for spring training.
The RiverHawks are the Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007.
