Quad City Riverhawks start the season 3-0 after a hard fought victory over the Chicago Throwbacks. The final score was 128-120.
The Riverhawks led throughout the game and but Chicago would never go away. The leading scorers for the Riverhawks were Ty Johnson with 30 points,Ryan Edwards with 22, Keith Gaydon and Bobby Anderson each had 19 points.
The Throwbacks were led by Stanley Thomas with 37,Jerome Harper and Steve Strong each had 21.
Riverhawks next home game is Saturday January 26 vs Dallas Defenders. Game starts at 7:00 at Wharton Fieldhouse in Moline.
