Riverhawks Announce First Tryout Date

Davenport, IA- Quad City Riverhawks Head Coach LaTroy Farrow has announced that the team will hold their first tryout camp on Saturday, May 3rd. Tryouts will begin promptly at 1:00 PM and run until 4:00 PM at Beyond the Baseline located at 1540 W. 12th Street Davenport, IA. Cost is $50 before May 3rd and $75 day of the tryout.
"We're hoping to attract some local talent to help us win the 2009 PBL Title" stated Coach Farrow. "We want to be the Quad Cities' basketball team and what better way than to have local products leading us on the floor?"

The Quad City Riverhawks went 15-6 in their inaugural season in the Premier Basketball League and captured the Regular Season West Division Championship. They lost to the eventual PBL runner up, Arkansas Impact, in the West Division Championship playoff.
