Johnstown RiverHawks News Release
The Johnstown Riverhawks are pleased to announce that DB Dominque Morris as signed with the Nashville Kats of Arena Football.
The 5'11 195 Vanderbilt product left Monday morning for a try-out with the league at the top of the Arena and Indoor Football food chain and was signed to a contract on Tuesday.
"This is a great thing for indoor football in Johnstown" said Brian Baisle Head Coach and General Manager of the Riverhawks. "Dom (Morris) is a very talented player and we hate to see him go but that is our ultimate goal as an organization here in Johnstown, to get our players to the next level".
Morris leaves behind some impressive stats with the Riverhawks he was tied for the team lead in interceptions with Carlos Campbell 6 and touch down returns off of interceptions with 3.
The Riverhawks return to action on the road this Saturday against the Miami Valley Silverbacks in Troy Ohio at 7:00pm.
