Riverdragons Announce Game Time Change, Special Events, and Ticket Offers For December

COLUMBUS, Ga., November 24 – The Columbus Riverdragons have announced that the start time for their Sunday, December 5 home game against the Roanoke Dazzle, originally scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., has been changed, with tip-off set for 6 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center. The Dragons have also announced two special ticket offers for their December 5 and December 23 home games, along with the debut of the Budweiser Concert Series and Thirsty Thursdays at the Civic Center.

The Riverdragons return home on Sunday, December 5 to host the Roanoke Dazzle, opening a four-game homestand. The game will feature "Buy One-Get One Free Night", as fans who purchase a regularly priced ticket will receive another ticket of equal value free. In addition, the Columbus Boys Choir will make a live performance at halftime of the Dragons-Dazzle game. Game time is set for 6 p.m..

Game two of the Dragons homestand, Thursday, December 9 against Asheville, will be highlighted by the debut of two special, season-long events at all Thursday night Dragons games during the 2004-05 campaign. It will be premiere of the 2004-05 Budweiser Concert Series, as the Riverdragons and Budweiser will present live concerts at each of the Dragons seven Thursday home games during the season. The event will also feature the debut of Thirsty Thursdays, with all beers only $2.25 at the Civic Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m..

Game three of the Dragons homestand, Thursday, December 16 versus Roanoke, will be the second installment of the Budweiser Concert Series and Thirsty Thursdays. Game time is 7 p.m..

Game four of the homestand, Thursday, December 23 against Asheville, will include the third installment of the Budweiser Concert Series, Thirsty Thursdays, and a special ticket offer for all Dragons fans. Anyone who brings a canned food item to the Columbus Civic Center box office will receive $3 off a regularly priced ticket. Canned food items will be donated to those in need by Mission Columbus of the Georgia Baptist Association.

The Riverdragons begin a four-game road trip, this Saturday, November 27 as they travel to take on the Huntsville Flight at 6:00 p.m. EST at the Von Braun Center. Following the Dragons match-up with Huntsville, Columbus will travel to Asheville (Nov. 29) and Florida (Dec. 2-3) for three more games to round out the four-game road swing. The Riverdragons will return home Sunday, December 5 to take on the Roanoke Dazzle at the Columbus Civic Center at 6:00 p.m..
