CLEAR SLATE: There are no games scheduled for today or Thanksgiving Day.
ON DECK: NBDL play resumes Friday when the Roanoke Dazzle travels to the Crown Coliseum to meet the Fayetteville Patriots. Tip off is 7:30 p.m. ET. Roanoke leads the season series 1-0.
TUNE IN LATER: NBA TV has postponed the airing of today's scheduled Huntsville at Columbus game on NBA TV. The game, which was played on Nov. 20, was originally scheduled to air at 3:30 p.m. ET, but will air at a later date to be determined by NBA TV.
TWIN: The 2004-05 debut of "This Week in the NBDL" will feature an interview with Columbus Riverdragons guard Ricky Minard. The first pick of the 2004 NBDL Draft, Minard is currently second in the league in scoring at 25.5 points per game. The first show airs Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
DOUBLE TAKE: Florida's Kirk Haston and Kevin Braswell, along with Roanoke forward James Thomas, all recorded their second double-double of the season in the Dazzle's 103-96 win over the Flame last night. For Haston (18 pts, 13 reb) and Braswell (10 pts, 12 asst) it is the second in as many games, the second in three games for Thomas (11 pts, 17 reb).
RICKERT TO ASHEVILLE: The Asheville Altitude claimed 6-11, 230-pound forward Rick Rickert from the NBDL available player pool on Tuesday. The former All-Big 10 selection was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round (55th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft. He is expected to be in uniform when the Altitude visits Fayetteville Saturday. Asheville also waived forward Derrick Davenport.

GETTING YOUNGER: The average age of players on NBDL rosters this season is 23.8, down from 24.8 last season. Fifty of the 60 players (83%) on NBDL rosters are 25-years-old or younger.
WET BEHIND THE EARS: The Fayetteville Patriots are the NBDL's youngest team with an average age of 23.2. Nine of the 10 Patriots are 25 or younger.
GERITOL SET? The Columbus Riverdragons are the oldest team in the league with an average age of 24.8. Coach Jeff Malone's club still has six players who are 25 or younger.
QUIZ ANSWER: Current Charlotte Bobcats public relations manager B.J. Evans began his professional basketball media relations career with the NBDL Asheville Altitude before take a position with the Miami Heat following the 2001-02 season.
