
RiverDogs Announce Game Times for 2019 Season

CHARLESTON, SC - Following a year in which the club welcomed more than 300,000 fans for the second consecutive season, the RiverDogs have announced their game times for the 2019 season with tickets now available for the Charleston club's 23rd year at Joe Riley Park.
As in years past, RiverDogs home games will feature a standard 7:05pm first pitch on Monday-Fridays, a 6:05pm start on Saturdays, and 5:05pm open on Sunday home games with a few notable exceptions. With first pitch times set the upcoming campaign, group tickets are available for the 2019 season starting on Monday, November 12. Until single-game tickets go on sale in March, fans can secure tickets to the 2019 season by booking a group or purchasing a flex plan starting with 10 voucher packages. "RiverDogs baseball is always an integral part of the summer in Charleston, and our schedule taking shape means the first pitch of the season will be here before we know it," said RiverDogs President and General Manager Dave Echols. "Throughout the years, we have adjusted our game times from fan feedback, and our schedule's development showcases another way in which we take pride in providing an exciting, family-friendly atmosphere at The Joe."
The RiverDogs also have several special days in which the normal start time will be slightly adjusted including:
- Wednesday, April 17 - Education Day at 11:05 a.m.
- Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day at 5:05 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 28 - Education Day at 11:05 a.m.
- Sunday, June 16 - Father's Day Game at 1:05 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 3 - Independence Day Celebration at 6:35 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 10 - Big Splash Day at 12:05 p.m.
- Monday, September 2 - Labor Day Finale at 2:05 p.m.
The RiverDogs begin their home schedule on Thursday April 11, taking on the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the first of 11 Thirsty Thursday dates over the course of the season. The RiverDogs will also host 11 home games each on Fridays and Saturdays during the 2019 campaign.
For the sixth consecutive season, WTMA 1250 AM will serve as the radio home of the RiverDogs in the Lowcountry. For all regularly scheduled games home and road, Matt Dean will have the play-by-play duties on "The Big Talker." Every pitch of the RiverDogs season, including mid-week day games and specialty start times, can be heard online at riverdogs.com and via the TuneIn radio app.
On the heels of their second straight year eclipsing 300,000 fans through the turnstiles, the RiverDogs have already begun preparations for another year down at The Joe. RiverDogs season tickets, including options to the Riley Park Club, are now available for the 2019 campaign by contacting the RiverDogs front office at 843-577-3647 (DOGS). The RiverDogs begin their home schedule on April 11 when they host the Greensboro Grasshoppers at The Joe, preceded by a weeklong road trip.
