RiverCity Rage News Release

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage announced today that the team is under new majority ownership. Father and son businessmen, Robert and Jeff Sprowls have purchased the majority share of the Rage, who will begin their second season in the United Indoor Football League in March.

Robert Sprowls is the consummate football fan. He is the owner, CEO, and CFO for Conglomerate Manufacturing Corporations distributing throughout the United States and Pacific Rim. His son, Jeff, will be responsible for the football operations of the Rage this season. Jeff has an impressive football background. He was a starting cornerback for two national championship teams. In 1981, his Idaho State team went 12-1 to win the 1-AA Championship and in 1984 BYU finished 13-0 and defeated Michigan for the NCAA title. After his collegiate career was over, Jeff was drafted by the San Diego Chargers.

"I'm thrilled to be working with such a great ownership group and front office staff," said Matt Jones, Rage General Manager. "Our goals remain the same, winning a UIF championship and setting the league's attendance record."

The Rage front office will remain intact with Jones as GM, Aaron McCreight remaining as Director of Media Relations and Corporate Sales along with Director of Ticket Sales, Rena Prohaska. The Rage staff will have one addition as Tom Crow, formerly of the Rock River Raptors, joins the team as Director of Operations.

"We are excited to become a part of the UIF," said Jeff Sprowls. "We look forward to a long and successful commitment with the Rage. We are here to build on the success this organization already has. We welcome the challenge of bringing a UIF championship to this community and hope to meet and exceed the expectations of our staff, coaches, players, sponsors and especially or fans."

The RiverCity Rage Professional Indoor Football team is a member of the United Indoor Football League. All Rage home games are played at The Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. Rage season and single game tickets are now on sale for the 2008 season. For ticketing information contact the Rage ticket office at (636) 896-4285.
