River Raiders win a game in St. Louis

Cedar Rapids River Raiders News Release


(Cedar Rapids, IA) the Cedar Rapids River Raiders win a close one over the St. Louis Skyhawks. Cedar Rapids 103, St. Louis 102 in regulation. Game was close to the very end as Courtney James hit a 3pt shot to put the River Raiders ahead by 1 pt with 1.1 seconds on the game clock. As a last second shot by St. Louis falls short the River Raiders improve to 5-1 on the season and play the Kansas Cagerz in Salina Sunday afternoon at 4pm.

River Raiders next scheduled home game will be Thursday may 6 @ 7:15 tip off against the Westchester Wildfire. G-man the nba mascot of the Washington Wizards will be here to entertain and provide a halftime dunking show. Also NBA legend John Starks will be making appearance back in Cedar Rapids that night as the coach of the Wildfire.
