(Cedar Rapids, IA) The River Raiders took the floor with a purpose Sunday afternoon, and to keep the winning streak alive. At the end of four quarters of play the game was tied at 107 apiece. As the crowd of 1,815 watched the River Raiders tied in scoring which sent it into a second overtime period. With Cedar Rapids players getting to the swing of things with the loyal fan support they outscore Brevard in the second overtime period 15 to nine giving them the win for the afternoon. Dean Oliver walks away the leading scorer for the River Raiders with 24 points and 7 assists.
River Raiders next scheduled home game will be Wednesday May 19, 2004 at 7:15pm as the River Raiders battle the Florence Flyers. Mike "the miz" Mizanin from MTV's Real World 10 will be here for a Real World challenge at halftime and will be signing autographs after the game. .. So dress casual and be prepared for a challenge at the US Cellular Center!
