(Cedar Rapids, IA) The River Raiders start the week long road trip with a loss at Mark Price Arena in Enid, Oklahoma. The Storm with home court advantage showed their dominance leading 69-56 going into half time. The River Raiders came out of halftime with the will to win and nearly toppled the Storm at home with a last second lay-up by Dean Oliver that fell short as the buzzer sounded. Bingo Merriex led the team with 28 point 14 rebounds with six other River Raiders in double figures. The River Raiders fall to 8-3 with their next road game on Saturday against defending USBL champion the Dodge City Legend.
River Raiders next scheduled home game will be Wednesday May 19, 2004 at 7:15pm as the River Raiders battle the Florence Flyers. Mike "the miz" Mizanin from MTV's Real World 10 will be here for a real world challenge at halftime and will be signing autographs after the game. .. So dress casual and be prepared for a challenge at the US Cellular Center!
