
River Drivers Unveil Expansion Draft Picks Share

Berlin, NH - Another step closer to the start of the seaon took place today as your Berlin River Drivers took part in the 2015-2016 Federal Hockey League (FHL) Expansion Draft along with the Brewster Bulldogs from Brester, New York and the Danbury Titans from Danbury, Connecticut.
Eligible players from the FHL waited to hear their names called and the River Drivers made 12 selections during the draft.
With their 1st pick the River Drivers selected Forward Cody Dion. Dion played for the 2014-2015 Federal Hockey League Champion Watertown Wolves last season and as named the playoffs Most Valuable Player.
The River Drivers went to former Dayton Demonz with their next two selections, goalie Dustin Carlson was selected with the 2d pick and Forward August Aiken was selected with the 3d pick.
The 4th selection was former Watertown Wolves' Forward Chad Bennett, and their 5th pick was former Berkshire Battalion Forward Lucas Van Natter.
The River Drivers selected former Demonz Forward Seth Ronsberg (6th), former Watertown Wolves Forwards Matt Wray (7th) and Ludlow Harris (8th), former Berkshire Battalion Forwards Tyler Prendergast (9th), Tyler Howe (10th), and Brandon Contratto (11th). With their final pick the River Drivers selected former Watertown Wolves Defenseman Brent Patry.
