River Drivers Sign Ryazhinov and Warren

Berlin, NH - The Berlin River Drivers Professional Hockey Club are proud to announce the signatures of Dmitri Ryazhinov and Curtis Warren to contracts for the upcoming 2015-2016 season at the Notre Dame Arena.

Ryazhinov, 24, a goaltender from Novosibirsk, Russia, shared five seasons between the pipes with Sibir Novosibirsk (KHL) and Sibirskie Snaipery Novosibirsk (MHL) where he appeared in 115 games for his junior club while also appearing in 18 regular season games and 3 playoff games with the senior side between 2009-2014. Last season, Dmitri moved to Kazakhstan with Nomad Astana where in 26 games he posted a 3.45 goals-against average and an .874 save percentage. During the playoffs, Dmitri posted a 1.07 goals-against average and a .968 save percentage in two games.

Warren, 22, a native of Barrie, Ontario, comes off a stellar junior career where he capped off a championship this past season with the Temiscaming Titans (GMHL) where in 16 playoff games, he scored 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) and 12 penalty minutes. Last season, the 5'11", 170-pound center was voted the league's "Top Forward" and also won the "Most Goals" awards with 64 while also contributing 50 assists for 114 points. Prior to last season, Curtis spent time in the Ontario Hockey League with the Barrie Colts and Aurora Tigers (OJHL).

The River Drivers begin their inaugural season in the FHL hosting last season's Commissioner's Cup runner ups, the Danville (IL) Dashers on November 14th, starting at 7pm at the Notre Dame Arena.
