River Bats to Host Fan Fest

Baton Rouge River Bats News Release
BATON ROUGE – The Baton Rouge River Bats will host a Fan Fest Thursday, May 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Pete Goldsby Field. The River Bats are members of the Southeastern League of Professional Baseball Clubs [a.k.a., Southeastern League or SEL].
Fans can meet members of the team and staff. River Bats merchandise will be on sale and season ticket holders can pick up their tickets.
Fan Fest tickets are $5, including a meal. A limited amount of tickets is available. Fans can contact the River BatsÂ’ office at (225) 344-BATS (2287) to purchase tickets.
The River Bats season opener is Friday, May 31, against the Montgomery Wings at Pete Goldsby Field. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m. as the River Bats take the field for their inaugural season.
Season tickets and marketing plans still are available. Contact the River Bats office to purchase or to receive more information.
Pete Goldsby Field is located next to Memorial Stadium off Interstate 110 near the GovernorÂ’s Mansion in downtown Baton Rouge.
