Rising's Match against Oakland Roots Postponed

PHOENIX, AZ - The USL Championship announced today the postponement of this week's two regular-season contests involving Oakland Roots SC including Phoenix Rising FC's match on Wednesday night.
The decision has been made for the health and safety of all parties after multiple persons on the Roots SC covered persons list tested positive for COVID-19 following a second round of testing on Monday at Oakland's facilities. The affected individuals have been immediately isolated at home and are recovering in good spirits under the care of team physicians and infectious disease experts. All league, local and state health and wellness protocols continue to be followed.
The match will now be played on Wednesday, August 25. Kickoff time for the match has not yet been determined.
