
Riptide To Host Viewing Party

CARSON, CALIFORNIA - Friday, May 18, 2007 - For lacrosse fans in Southern California, it quite simply can't get any better as the Los Angeles Riptide of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) today announced that the club will host a Final Four Viewing Party of the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Semifinals at Sharkeez in Manhattan Beach (3801 Highland Ave.) on Saturday, May 26 starting at 9 a.m.
Riptide players and members of the club's coaching staff will be on hand as the first semifinal begins and 9 a.m. and the second semifinal begins at 11:30 a.m., with both games to be broadcast live from Ravens Stadium in Baltimore, MD. The Riptide's brand new team mascot will also be on hand to assist as Riptide staff members host promotions throughout the event. The kitchen at Sharkeez will also be open for breakfast and drink specials will be available.

The Riptide will open their 2007 season on the road at the Chicago Machine on Saturday, May 19. The Riptide's home opener is set for Sunday, May 27 versus the New Jersey Pride at the Home Depot Center, with the home opener set to begin at 7 p.m.
