Riptide To Host CIF Lacrosse Final On Saturday

CARSON, CALIFORNIA - Friday, May 4, 2007 - The Los Angeles Riptide of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) will host the 2007 Boys LA-OC CIF Lacrosse Championship at the Home Depot Center in Carson on Saturday, May 5 at 7 p.m.
Palos Verdes High School - the boys champion from Los Angeles County - will meet Foothill High School - the boys champion from Orange County - on field 5 (located just inside the main entrance at the Home Depot Center) with gates for the game opening at 6 p.m.
Tickets for Saturday's championship game are priced at $10 (cash only box office) and included in the purchase will be a general admission ticket to go see the Riptide play the New Jersey Pride in their MLL home opener at the Home Depot Center, scheduled for Sunday, May 27 at 7 p.m. G
The Riptide, led by head coach John Tucker, are scheduled to take the field for three more practices this weekend as week two of the club's training camp continues at Home Depot Center.

Session 3, 8:00 a.m., University Field 2
Riptide Training Camp sessions are open to members of the media and to the public.
The Riptide will open the 2007 season on the road at the Chicago Machine on May 19.
