Boston, MA (May 4, 2007) - The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) hold the third and final weekend of their 2007 training camp this Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6. Saturday's practice takes place from 5PM-7PM. The team will practice Sunday from 9AM-11AM. Both sessions take place at Harvard Stadium.

Training camp practices are open to the media and public.

The Cannons will scrimmage the Boston Crabs Club Lacrosse Team on Saturday. The scrimmage will serve as a tune-up for the Cannons as they prepare to open the season next weekend in Washington.

Boston has now completed two weekends of training camp.

"This weekend is very important for us," said Bill Daye, Cannons head coach. "Our practices this week will set the tone for the start of our season. We want to leave Harvard Sunday ready for the Bayhawks next week."

Thirty-five players are invited to training camp. Boston must reduce its roster to 23 active players and three practice squad players after this weekend.

The Cannons held Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day in conjunction with training camp on April 21. Over 400 fans attended. Season ticket holders were given the opportunity to mingle with players, take a tour of their new seats at Harvard Stadium and attend the Harvard Women's and Men's lacrosse games that afternoon. Season ticket holders were also treated to a catered lunch from Qdoba, the Official Family Restaurant of the Boston Cannons.
