Arkansas RimRockers News Release
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., November 16 - The Arkansas RimRockers have announced that guards Ryan Holmes and Ricky Shields and forward Zakee Wadood have been waived from the training camp roster.
"This is the only part of coaching I don't enjoy" said Head Coach Andy Stoglin. "Last year during training camp we could make a cut after the first day, but this year's group of guys were all good enough to make the team, and will probably stay in the league, so it was tough."
The RimRockers training camp roster now stands at 14 players; with 2 player exceptions of Olu Famutimi and Badou Gaye, unable to participate in camp until international paperwork is completed. The RimRockers will host a preseason game on Friday November 17th at 7:00p.m. in Conway at the Farris Center on the University of Central Arkansas' campus. On Wednesday, November 22, the RimRockers will cut down to the 10 players for opening night roster.
