RimRockers reschedule Jermain Taylor

January 10, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas RimRockers News Release

Little Rock, AR. (Monday, January 10, 2005)- Scotty Adams, director of promotions and events, announced the RimRockers will reschedule Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor Night due to an unexpected schedule change. Taylor has been added to a fight list for February 19 and is now in Miami training. The RimRockers look forward to rescheduling Taylor for a game in late February and will be releasing information as it becomes available.

“It’s unfortunate about the schedule change,” Adams said. “However, we look forward to having him later in the season. Mr. Taylor is always a crowd pleaser, and this will give RimRocker fans something to look forward too.”

Taylor, WBC Continental America’s Middle Weight Champion, and Little Rock native planned to be the RimRockers’ 11th man and sign autographs for fans at the January 14 game at Alltel Arena.

The Arkansas RimRockers, owned by Larry Crain Sr., play all home games at Alltel Arena. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased through the Alltel Arena Box Office by calling 501-975-7575. The American Basketball Association season runs from November to March. Playoffs will immediately follow.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
