Utah Snowbears Continue to Pace Playoff Teams, Kentucky Colonels continue to move up

January 10, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Kentucky Retros News Release

The ABA today released its Playoff Power Rankings through Sunday, December 9th and Ike Austin's undefeated Utah Snowbears continue to lead while newcomers Bellevue and Ontario join the elite group of teams. Close on their heals are Portland, Fresno, Pennsylvania and Las Vegas.

The Kentucky Colonels jumped up three spots after destroying Colorado 161-90 last Friday. That was the most points scored by an ABA team this year and the biggest winning margin of any ABA game this year.

Kevin Westwick, ABA Stats Coordinator stated, "Now that the league is getting a lot of games completed, the point differential aspect is really coming into play. Close games are very important; the playoff teams can change easily from week to week."

The Colonels are on the road at Colorado this Friday and return home Sunday, January 10 to host the Cincinnati Blaze at the Louisville Gardens. Game time has been changed to 7:05 PM.
