Arkansas RimRockers News Release

Little Rock (Friday, December 10, 2004)- The Arkansas RimRockers Basketball team will travel to the Altheimer High School on December 13 to help raise funds for new school equipment. The RimRockers will hold a special practice session at the Altheimer High School Gymnasium from 6-7 p.m. Head Coach Joe Harge and Pat Bradley will speak to the kids at 5:45 and will practice from 6-7. The RimRockers will sign autographs from 7:30-7:45. The RimRockers hope to contribute to the school district and encourage the community of Altheimer to support the RimRockers throughout their inaugural season.

"We enjoy traveling to different communities across Arkansas," Emily Wade, Community Relations Director, said. "Not only do we want the towns to benefit economically, but we hope to gain new friendships throughout Arkansas."

Fans at the practice session can expect to see fast-paced action, as well as slam dunks and quick ball handling. Monday night's practice will be a sneak peak into what RimRocker fans will see at each home game this season.

The Arkansas RimRockers owned by Larry Crain Sr., have scheduled 18 home games in Alltel Arena. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Alltel Arena box office at 501-975-7575. The American Basketball Association season runs from November through March with playoffs beginning in April.
