Riggans, Icenogle Tabbed Players OF The Week

DURHAM, NC - The Can-Am League announced today that New Jersey Jackals INF Shawn Riggans and Sussex Skyhawks LHP Jeff Icenogle have been named the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week. The selection was made by Pointstreak, the official statistician of the Can-Am League.
In four games, Riggans batted .533 with two home runs, seven RBI and eight hits. He plated five runs, slugged 1.067 and had an on-base percentage of .611. In the 10-9 victory over Sussex on Friday, the Fort Lauderdale resident went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored.
Icenogle tossed five solid innings in the 4-3 win over New Jersey on opening night. The southpaw allowed no runs on two hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
