
Richmond UHL Club Makes First Trade

Richmond, VA â The Richmond United Hockey League expansion franchise has acquired the rights to defenseman Scott Drevitch from the Port Huron Beacons for considerations.
The 37 year old Drevitch has 15 seasons of pro hockey experience, including parts of two seasons (â91-'92 and â92-'93) in Richmond. He has played in 146 AHL/IHL games and spent four seasons in Europe. Drevitch spent most of last season in Port Huron (63 points in 75 games) and played two games with Cleveland in the AHL.
Drevitch, a Massachusetts native, played college hockey at UMass-Lowell after transferring from Maine. He rang up 75 points in 83 games in his stint in Richmond.
