Richmond Raiders News Release

The Richmond Raiders announce the signing of three more players with indoor football experience for the 2013 season. Wide receiver Antwun Williams and defensive backs RoShawn Marshall and Ke'Mon Bailey have been added to the Raiders' preseason roster.

Antwun Williams will return for his third season as a Raider. He saw action in 11 games in 2012, finishing with 32 receptions, 420 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Head Coach James Fuller said of Williams, "It's good to have a veteran wide receiver back on the field. Antwun made a bunch of big plays in big games which put us over the edge in 2012." Williams set a career high with three TDs against Louisiana in the PIFL semifinal, and had the biggest play of the game in the May 5 tilt with the Swashbucklers, catching the game winning touchdown with eight seconds left. Williams set single-game career highs with 11 catches and 136 yards in the 2011 season finale at Fayetteville, and finished that season with 64 catches, 628 yards, and eight touchdowns.

RoShawn Marshall made an immediate impact at DB his first year with the Raiders in 2012. Fuller called Marshall "a big play DB who can change the game with his ball hawking ability," something he did with regularity in 2012. Marshall finished third in the PIFL with seven interceptions, and tied for the league lead with two touchdown returns. His 125 interception return yards led the league. Marshall had a 53 yard pick-six in the championship game against Albany. Coach Fuller is "looking for him to be a leader going into the 2013 season." He finished in the top 20 in the league in total tackles and in the top 25 in tackles per game.

Richmond native Ke'Mon Bailey returns for his second year with the Raiders. He broke into the starting lineup last season against Columbus on May 19 and had an interception in that game. "We are glad to have Ke'Mon back. His youth and commitment to our organization as well as his ability to play several DB positions make us a better team," said Fuller. A two-time all-district and two-time all-regional selection at Huguenot High School, he earned honorable mention all-state honors before playing collegiately at UMass, where he was a four year letterwinner and a two year starter.

The 2013 season will begin in March, and the complete schedule will be released soon. The Raiders will play all their home games at the Richmond Coliseum. Season tickets start as low as $30, and are available on the Raiders' website, www.RichmondRaidersProFootball.com, or by calling 804-780-0430. Again this year the Raiders will play in the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) and will look to take the next step after falling short in the championship game last year.
