Originally drafted by the Reds with the fifth overall pick in the 1992 draft, the 15-year professional has hit .200 with four home runs and 12 RBI in 59 Major League games with the Reds (1996), Blue Jays (2000, 2006), Marlins (2001), and Orioles (2005).

Baker High School graduate pitched in 51 games for the American League Champion Detroit Tigers compiling a 2-3 record and a 4.21 ERA during the regular season. In post-season play he appeared in five games allowing just one hit and no runs.

DAVIS owns a record of 382-331 in six seasons as a Minor League Manager leading his team to the playoffs three times and winning two league championships. He was also the Bench Coach for the 2003 World Series Champion Florida Marlins.
