
Ricarlo Bell Named IFL Defensive Rookie of the Year

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA: Titans defensive lineman Ricarlo Bell has been named the 2018 Indoor Football League Defensive Rookie of the Year. Bell's ability to make plays in the backfield quickly made him one of the most feared defensive playmakers in the IFL.
Bell (6'3,250, Shepherd University) concluded his rookie campaign with 36 tackles, seven sacks, 14 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. His seven sacks and four forced fumbles each led the IFL. His 14 tackles for loss tied him for second in the league.
The Cedar Rapids defensive lineman was named the Week 16 Defensive Player of the Week in a game where he recorded two sacks, three tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. At the conclusion of the season, Bell was named a First Team All-IFL Defensive Lineman.
