Shreveport Mudbugs 2 @ El Paso Rhinos 3 - El Paso Rhinos clutch the victory in the shootout in their first game this series against the Shreveport Mudbugs.
Rhinos & Mudbugs hit the ice this Friday night for their first game of this 2-game series.
First period this match saw only one goal from our very own Matt Johnson as he scored at the very last second! This goal would be the only for a while as neither team was able to score during the second period.
The Mudbugs took two goals in the first half of the third period, bringing the game to 2-1, Rhinos trailing behind. Alex Krause couldn't let this stand and brought the game back to a tie at 2-2, scoring at 15 minutes into the period.
With the game now tied, the teams went into shootout, Graham Harris scoring the game winning goal.
