RGV FC Teams with Friends for Hope to Donate Money and Smiles to Local Pediatric Cancer Patients

EDINBURG, Texas -Rio Grande Valley FC has teamed up with Friends for Hope to raise funds for local pediatric cancer patients via the sponsorship of teddy bears, called "Fanfare Bears". All Fanfare Bears will be in the stands on Friday, August 28 as the Toros face San Antonio FC in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN Deportes.
All plush bears and the proceeds they generate will be donated to Friends for Hope, a non-profit organization that supports the Vannie E. Cook Cancer Clinic. Vannie E. Cook provides life-saving cancer treatment to kids in the Rio Grande Valley, regardless of their financial situation.
