RGV FC Host Atlanta United II for First-Ever Matchup

EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC (8-9-7; 31 pts.) host Atlanta United II (7-11-8; 29 pts.) for a first-ever matchup on Saturday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. CST. RGV FC will also host Bark in the Park to benefit the Palm Valley Animal Society.
RGV FC: Last Saturday, the Toros suffered a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Spring Switchbacks despite a 1-0 lead at halftime from a goal by Emilio Ycaza. Ycaza managed to score his first goal with the club and was assisted by Frank Lopez. RGV finished the night with 13 total shots, three on target, while Colorado totaled five shots, three on target.
ATL: In a midweek matchup Atlanta United II fell 0-4 to Birmingham Legion FC. Atlanta led the match with a passing accuracy of 82.1% and a ball possession of 54.8%. Darwin Matheus led Birmingham with three total shots. Goalkeeper Alec Kann totaled four saves.
