
RFK Stadium Hosts La Super Copa VI Final

Washington, D.C. (May 3, 2011) - D.C. United announced today that La Super Copa VI Final will be played at RFK Stadium on Saturday, May 7th. The game will take place immediately after D.C. United's match against FC Dallas, beginning at 7:30 pm ET.
This event will be played for the first time at RFK Stadium's Main Field and will bring different amateur champions from DC's Metropolitan area face to face. On one side of the pitch will be Inter de Virginia (Manassas Universal League Champions), and on the other Municipal Limeño (Maryland International Soccer League Champions).
The winner of this match will receive $5,000 along with the La Super Copa VI Trophy, and First Place medals. The runner-up will receive $2,500 and Second Place medals. In addition, both teams received 20 full adidas uniform kits.
Volkswagen is the presenting sponsor of La Super Copa VI, and associate sponsors include Verizon Wireless, D.C. Lottery, State Farm, and American Airlines. All who wish to watch the Super Copa final must have a ticket for D.C. United's match.
