Texas Revolution News Release

Allen, TX - The Indoor Football League (IFL) proudly announced today at 3:00 P.M. EST that Jordan Jolly of the Texas Revolution has been named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Green Bay on May 25, 2013.

The Revolution needed a big win last Saturday evening at the Allen Event Center in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Revs 60-56 win against the Blizzard was a gritty effort by the entire team. Head Coach Billy Back complimented the play of his Texas team. He said, "The defense was aggressive and active, [the] wide receivers stepped up and got the job done!" He then added, "Our quarterback was on and the offensive line was solid as always. It felt like back yard football again."

One of the top performers was wide receiver Jordan Jolly, a first year professional out of Navarro College. Jolly put up his best numbers of the season, collecting ten catches for 162 yards and three touchdowns.

This breakout game was no fluke for Jolly, he leads the Revolution in total yards (471) and yards per game (52.3) and ranks second on the team with 10 touchdowns on the year. Of players who have played eight or more IFL games this season, Jolly ranks eighth in the league in yards per game.

The Texas Revolution have three games remaining on their 2013 Indoor Football League Schedule. The Revs are in the middle of the United Conference playoff race, and host two of those final three games at the Allen Event Center. The fans really contribute to the excellent Allen Event Center atmosphere, and can be that extra motivation the Revs need to ensure victory! Tickets for individuals and groups are still available for the June 1 and June 15 home games. To purchase tickets, contact the Texas Revolution office at 972-422-7277, visit the Allen Event Center Box Office, or log onto Ticketmaster.com.
