Revolution Sign TCU Defensive Lineman Wayne Daniels

Plano, TX: The Texas Revolution announced today the signing of former TCU Horned Frog DL Wayne Daniels.
Daniels played in 48 games for TCU over his career that spanned from 2006 to 2010, culminating in his senior season that saw him graduate as a First Team All-American and two time All Mountain West Conference player. Daniels was one of four defensive lineman to be named to the All-American list in 2010 joining Auburn's Nick Fairley, Purdue's Ryan Kerrigan and Clemson's Da'Quan Bowers. During the 2010 season Daniels led TCU with a career high 6.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss, as well as two fumble recoveries. He finished his career at TCU in their 21-19 win over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl, totaling six tackles, two for loss and a pass breakup during the game.
For his career at TCU, Daniels had over 100 tackles and 13 sacks over four seasons. Prior to college, Daniels was a high school All-American, first team all District and ranked as the 77th best prospect in Texas . Following his career at TCU Daniels signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets, playing in three preseason games during the 2011 season.

Revolution announce full coaching staff
The Revolution additionally announced the final members of the 2013 coaching staff. In addition to Coach Back and Defensive Coordinator Brian Wells, the Revolution will have help from Brandon Blackmon (DB Coach), Bryan Raymond (OL Coach) and Taurean Henderson (RB Coach).
Blackmon has played and coached defensive backs for years, following a college career at Purdue and professional stops with IFL teams in Sioux Falls (Storm), Omaha (Beef) and Sioux City (Bandits). Raymond is a local coach with 15 years of experience. Previously he coached with the Allen Wranglers in 2011, and currently lives in McKinney. Henderson was a star running back at Gatesville High School in Gatesville, TX, running for 2,953 yards as a senior, leading the school to the Class 3A State Championship. Henderson committed to playing at Texas Tech, where he sits second all-time on the school's reception list behind Wes Welker. Henderson was undrafted out of college, but signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006, before moving on to the Atlanta Falcons for two seasons.
Dance Team Tryouts held, team selected
Last week, the Revolution hosted dance team finals at Dodie's Place in the Village at Allen. Twenty "celebrity" and four official judges helped to narrow the group down to the final 12 that will take the field in February. Local businesses were represented including The Transmission Shop owner Mike Adams, Harley Davidson of Dallas' Marketing Manager Amanda Palshaw, Executive Press printing owner David Allen, Texas Tan General Manager Bret Jacobson, two Revolution players, three members of the team's ownership and a representative from Dodge City of McKinney, the title sponsor of the Texas Revolution Dancers. The dance team has a new Facebook page with pictures of the event, and individual shots of each of the girls will be posted soon.
The Texas Revolution are proud members of the Indoor Football League, and play all home games in the Allen Event Center in Allen, TX. Season tickets are now on sale and start as low as $99 each with the season kicking off Feb. 21.
